Turning Point 1777 is an accomplished husband and wife team of historians based in Cobleskill, New York with over four decades of combined experience interpreting New York State's Colonial and Revolutionary War history. We are proud to call the gorgeous landscape of Schoharie County our backyard and are passionate about sharing its historic legacy in the most enjoyable ways possible. We believe interactive history is the best approach, which is the foundation of our scheduled guided walking tours that highlight centuries of history in the Villages of Cobleskill, Middleburgh and Schoharie, as well as the Cobleskill Battlefield. There are even spooky Ghost Watches! Private customized walking and driving tours are also available. You can also catch one or both of us presenting special events, lectures, school programs, living history demonstrations and reproducing historic flags.
